WELCOME!

I am a third-year, first grade teacher in Orange County, NC. I graduated in 2022 with a B.A in Elementary and Special Education from Elon University! Some facts about me are that I am bilingual and can speak both English and Spanish. I am a proud first-generation college student and come from an El Salvadoran background! In my time at Elon, I was able to work with Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade students. After graduating in May of 2022, I became a first grade educator in a Title I school. Since then I have a developed a strong passion for helping students, especially those who come from mixed-status families and aspire to continue building and fostering connections between home and school through social-emotional learning, family connection and collaboration in and out of the classroom.
